Malang City Urban Community’s Perception towards Religion and Islamic Education

Malang is known as a city of education, industry, and tourism. With these three names with the various problems that exist in it, certain to experience changes its social relations quickly. Starting from emergence assumption there has been change urban society, especially view religion, this study focuses on two aspects, namely perception people towards religion how Islamic education affects their daily religious attitudes. The results observations made by researchers show level community very heterogeneous. However, they were at fairly high ability. This reflected several answers interviews asked researcher. None them did not understand terms related elements, such improving quality life, phenomena, others.
